Legendary singer Gladys Knight celebrated her 78th birthday on Saturday (May 28).

Knight’s fans took to social media to shower her with lots of love. The seven-time Grammy winner expressed her appreciation in an Instagram post, saying she was “blown away by the amazing outpouring of love and well wishes on this Birthday. Thank you so much!”

Knight remains active as a singer. Entertainment Tonight reports that she had back-to-back performances earlier this month at two separate Southern California venues, as well as a show on the day after her birthday.

Gladys Knight and The Pips were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1996. One of the iconic group’s biggest hits is “Midnight Train to Georgia.” During her six-decade career, Knight recorded nearly 40 albums, according to PEOPLE.
