Beyoncé Wins Halloween, Again
When it comes to Halloween, Beyoncé is queen. She re-upped on that title for this year’s holiday too — and had some family help.
Beyoncé’s cousin Angie Beyince threw an ‘80s and '90s party over the weekend and her extended family decided to dress up as Salt-N-Pepa. Blue Ivy and Tina Knowles assisted Beyoncé in transforming into the legendary hip-hop trio.
Bey and her stylist Zerina Akers took to Instagram to share their outfits. Jay Z even joined in the fun and donned a bright jacket and, ironically, a dookie chain, which is something he himself rocked early in his rap career.
Of course Beyoncé and her partners got the reaction from the original trio. They hit up Instagram to give their full seal of approval.
“Okay we have to give it up to @beyonce for #Representing us !” the group wrote under a picture of Bey’s costume. “We #Salute you for this girl. #GirlPower #happyhalloween from #SaltNPepa.”
This is only the latest edition of Beyonce slaying Halloween. Last year the Carters dressed up as Coming to America characters. In 2014, she had not one, but two really awesome get ups. First, she killed it as Rhythm Nation-era Janet Jackson and then changed into a couture version of Frida Kahlo.
Kelly Rowland, who was also at the party, dressed up as Dionne from Clueless.
