This one's for Coach Summitt.

On the same day that the basketball community lost Pat Summitt, one of her best players dedicated her performance to her beloved coach.

Candace Parker, who played for Summitt at the University of Tennessee from 2005-08, scored 31 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Sparks to an 89-84 home victory over the Dallas Wings on Tuesday night.

Afterward, Parker emotionally admitted that she could feel Summitt's presence, urging her to rebound, in particular.

"Well, I see coach's glare and I hear her voice screaming at me to rebound, especially on the offensive end," a teary-eyed Parker told ESPN's Holly Rowe. "I see her little head going back and forth telling me to rebound. It's very ironic that I had my season high in rebounding tonight."

Parker also wore orange sneakers in honor of Summitt and the Lady Vols' squad that the late Hall of Famer coached for 38 seasons from 1974 to 2012. Summitt died Tuesday morning after battling an "Alzheimer's Type" of early-onset dementia at 64.

Earlier in the day, Parker also tweeted this touching letter that Summitt had penned to her.

Other famous Lady Vols' alum under Summitt, including Chamique Holdsclaw and Tamika Catchings, also took to their Twitter accounts to reflect on the winningest coach in college basketball history.
