Trump Says 'I Don't Stand by Anything' When Asked If He Still Thinks Obama Wiretapped Him
Some believe his statement perfectly sums up his first 100 days.
During an interview at the White House with CBS Morning News, Donald Trump appeared to back away from claims that Barack Obama had him wiretapped. When CBS's John Dickerson asked Trump if he stood behind his claims that Obama was a "sick" and "bad" guy, the president refused to give a direct answer.
"I don't stand by anything," Trump told Dickerson.
During the brief interview, Trump repeatedly said, 'you saw what happened with surveillance,' without offering specific details
After getting pressed about whether or not he still believes he was wiretapped, Trump abruptly ended the interview
