SZA Named Billboard’s 2023 Woman Of The Year

The singer will be honored at the Billboard Women in Music Awards on March 1.

SZA can now add Billboard’s 2023 Woman Of The Year to her list of major accomplishments, now that it has been announced that the singer will be honored at the Billboard Women in Music Awards on March 1.

In an official press release, the “Kill Bill” artist was said to have “defied genres and continually released raw, powerful songs which have landed her music on the Billboard chart,” according to PEOPLE.

“The release of her latest album, SOS has solidified her as a distinct force in contemporary R&B, and catapulted her into superstardom. We can't wait to honor her as Woman of the Year,” the release continued.

Doechii will also be crowned with the Rising Star Award and Latto with the Powerhouse Award.

Golden Globe award-winning actress Quinta Brunson will host the show at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.
