Legendary singer Dionne Warwick received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Dec. 12, 1985. As a five-time Grammy Award-winning artist and one of the 40 biggest hit makers of all time, according to Billboard, Warwick has established a career worthy of the accolade.

Besides her iconic work in music, Warwick used her fame for the greater good becoming an United Nations Ambassador for the Food and Agriculture Organization and a United States Ambassador of Health. Soul Train Awards also paid tribute to Warwick's contributions in 2013.
