Chanel Iman and NFL Star Davon Godchaux Tie the Knot in Romantic Caribbean Yacht Wedding
Chanel Iman and Davon Godchaux are now one.
On Tuesday (Feb. 27), the couple announced on Instagram that they had exchanged vows. The big day between Iman and the New England Patriots player occurred on a romantic yacht in the Caribbean among loved ones. News of their milestone was highlighted by a series of posts on the app including sweet snaps of the couple and their children.
"Finally I am officially Chanel Iman Godchaux 🎉," said the former Victoria's Secret angel. "so much to celebrate and be grateful for 🙏🏽 together we will continue to move mountains and love each other through thick and thin ❤️ we are forever family. I love you so much Davon 💍💎 can’t wait for what the future holds together @chauxdown."
Iman also shared a video montage of their epic day on the picturesque sea that included a touching message from Godchaux before they said, "I do."
"Chanel, I love you. You made me a better man, a better father, a better teammate, a better everything. I'm excited to be with you for the rest of my life. Can't wait to marry you."
In the video, Iman also explained why they decided to have a destination wedding.
"We chose Anguilla because island hopping is our thing. We love being on the water," she said.
On this special day, Iman flaunted her fashionable side with three different outfit changes. During the ceremony, she rocked a white floor-length off-the-shoulder gown with beaded details by Zuhair Murad.
She also wore a Bronx And Banco high-low white gown accentuated with feathers and matching pumps. Her third dress consisted of a white dress with a plunging neckline, a high split, and elaborate sleeves with feathers by the same designer.
Godchaux donned a white sportscoat and black trousers, while their daughters all wore adorable white gowns. Iman's daughters –Cali Clay Shepard and Cassie Snow Shepard whom she shares with ex-husband Sterling Shepard– served as flower girls. Iman and Godchaux welcomed their first child, Capri, together in September 2023.
“We planned the wedding the way we desired—doing something together that we love with our kids and our blended family,” Iman explained to Vogue. “This was our ideal dream day.
