All of the fantasies of young men who want to date Selena Gomez came to a grinding halt on Friday, when Justin Bieber basically blew all y’all out of the water. The singer planned a day for his girl that started with a romantic, hugged-up stroll on the beach in Malibu and ended with a private screening of the classic romantic film, Titanic ... at the Staples Center arena.

Yeah. Just the two of them, watching the ultimate chick flick, in one of the largest arenas in the world (which Bieber has sold out three times in concert).

In between, Biebs and Gomez popped into the Nokia Theater to catch Gomez’s BFF Demi Lovato’s concert. So, let’s recap: Justin took his girl for a romantic stroll on the beach, hung out with her best friend and then sat through Titanic. Scrubs of the world, we hope you’re taking notes.

"Romance isn't dead," Bieber tweeted Friday. "Treat your lady right fellas." Indeed.
