Pauly D Talks Deal With G-Unit
DJ Pauly D is doing pretty well for himself ever since he found fame on the Jersey Shore. The spikey-haired turntablist has not only landed the gig of a lifetime opening up for Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj on the Femme Fatale tour, but he's also confirmed an album deal with 50 Cent's G-Unit Records.
In an interview with XXLmag.com, Pauly D says a three-album deal with the Interscope-backed label, which may include provisions for his own line of headphones, should be done "by the end of the year."
"50 cent has been somebody I look up to. We ended up linking up and we just clicked. We hit it off immediately with the music and everything like that. So, I’m definitely gonna be working with him. There’s been talks about the album and the headphones. I’m looking forward to working with that as well," he said.
Jersey Shore is currently in its fourth season, which takes place in Italy. A spinoff of the show, which will focus on Pauly D and his rising career, is in the works.
