Michael Strahan, Nicole Murphy: Cheating, Pre-Nup Lead to Split?

Sources claim Strahan wasn't the only one who strayed.

New details have emerged in the increasingly-contentious split between Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy. Hours after reports surfaced that the breakup was due to the former NFL player's cheating ways, TMZ reports that Eddie Murphy's ex may have been seeking comfort in the arms of another herself.
According to the gossip site, Murphy had a romantic fling in the Carribbean with ex-NBA player Jim Jackson in July, around the same time she suspected her fiancé of cheating. Sources claim that Murphy went to Puerto Rico with girlfriends and ran into Jackson, an old friend, but things quickly heated up between the two with lots of "hugging, kissing and snuggling" going on. Murphy reportedly said she was "on a break" from Strahan at the time of the rumored fling.
Meanwhile, Page Six claims the couple called off their engagement over a prenup battle. “Nicole was unwilling to sign a prenup, even though Michael has consistently been very generous to her," a source claims. The Live With Kelly and Michael host reportedly supported Murphy financially after she lost her fortune in bad investments. “She gave [investor Troy David Stratos] all the money from her divorce with Eddie Murphy. Michael helped her out financially, but she still wouldn’t sign a prenup.”
Either way, sounds like the split is less amicable than the couple's joint statement on Saturday would lead the public to believe. Strahan was reportedly blindsided by the announcement, which happened right as he was being inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.
