Jamie and Corinne Foxx to Host New Family Game Show ‘We Are Family’
As we continue to pray for Jamie Foxx after his health scare, we can celebrate the actor’s new gig with his daughter Corinne Foxx as they are set to host a new game show on Fox called We Are Family, People reported. Fox announced the new series today, with Corinne sharing the news on her social media.
“WE ARE FAMILY coming 2024!🎶👨👧🪩 The Foxx Family is headed back to our home on @foxtv & we can’t wait for this new show! 🦊📺,” the actor’s daughter captioned.
"We are thrilled to be developing We Are Family with Jeff Apploff and our friends at FOX Entertainment after so much success with six seasons of Beat Shazam," the father-daughter duo said in a joint statement.
"We hope this show brings as much fun to audiences at home as we've had creating it when it premieres next year."
The competition show is “a music guessing game that will feature one celebrity every episode alongside a non-famous relative. But there's a twist: the featured star will be hidden until their identity can be guessed.”
Clues will be shared to help identify each celeb and for every correctly guessed star, there’s a cash prize up to $100,000 for the studio audience who will work to guess the celeb based on the clues provided.
This news comes off the heels of the actor’s daughter blasting the media, debunking the conspiracies pertaining to her father’s health conditions in her Instagram story on Friday.
"Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support,” she wrote.
We’re happy Jamie is doing better and is getting to a new bag!
