Oprah Gifts Sheryl Lee Ralph A Larger Than Life Emmy Winning Bouquet Of Flowers
The gifts keep on pouring for first-time Emmy winner Sheryl Lee Ralph; this time, she has received a life-size bouquet from Oprah Winfrey.
In a TikTok posted by Ralph’s son Etienne Maurice, the Abbott Elementary co-star was gifted a larger-than-life bouquet of pink and white flowers.
“Wow, yes!” Ralph says as two men walk up to her driveway with the beautiful arrangement. “Oprah, you know how to get flowers done, girl. Thank you!”
On Monday (Sept. 12) Ralph received a standing ovation at the 74th Emmy Awards on during her acceptance speech for her Emmy win for “Supporting Actress in a Comedy” for her role in ABC’s Abbott Elementary, singing the song “Endangered Species” by jazz vocalist Dianne Reeves, she blew the crowd away.
Ralph belted, "I am an endangered species, but I sing no victim's song. I am a woman I am an artist. And I know where my voice belongs," from the popular song "Endangered Species," by Dianne Reeves.
"To anyone who has ever—ever—had a dream, and thought your dream wasn't, wouldn't, couldn't come true," she said in part, "I am here to tell you that this is what believing looks like. This is what striving looks like. And don't you ever, ever give up on you!” She also thanked Abbott Elementary creator Quinta Brunson.
