Hello, Mrs. Fine! Cassie's Custom Wedding Dress Took Just 1 Week To Make, Even Though It Needed To Fit Her 7-Month Baby Bump
Cassie Ventura became Mrs. Fine in an intimate, Malibu wedding at the end of September. Since the photos of her wedding to trainer Alex Fine surfaced within weeks of their engagement, we know we weren't the only one's wondering how she got a wedding dress made to fit her baby bump so quickly. Well, our questions have been answered!
Cassie, who is due in December, tied the knot with her boo at 7-months pregnant. She revealed to Vogue all the details of her nuptials, including how she planned a wedding and had a custom dress made within two weeks of her engagement.
Enlisting the help of stylists and friends Marni Senofonte and Deonte Nash, Cassie had a custom, cream look made with the help of her tailors and said, "I spent one afternoon with Deo and Marni going through inspiration and during that time we settled on a silhouette and fabrication... We chose to create the lace veil to give it a touch of the classic."
With the dramatic, off-the shoulder sleeves, high-slit and long train, Cassie explained that she wanted a romantic yet comfortable dress that fit the intimate theme of her backyard wedding, which included 14 of their closest family and friends as their guests.
The groom wore Musika styled by Paris Libby while the bride requested that the male guests wear black tuxedos and the female guests wear cream. Cassie paired her dress with a pair of Jimmy Choo heels and carried a bouquet with her grandmother's rings tied into it.
“I felt really relaxed during the ceremony. As soon as I saw Alex, any nerves that I did have went away, and I just couldn’t stop smiling," Cassie said. How sweet!
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Fine, who not only got married, but are also awaiting the birth of their bundle of joy!
