Bone Thugs Members Upset Over Krayzie Bone Departure
Looks like Krayzie Bone’s split from Grammy Award-winning rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony isn’t going to be as amicable as he thought it would be.
Current group members Flesh-n-Bone and Layzie Bone told TMZ that Krayzie is a “dumb f---” for leaving the group that “made him who he is.”
As previously reported, Krayzie Bone went on YouTube to announce his departure from the group last week. In the video Krayzie explains why he decided to part from the group after two decades.
“It’s basically time for me to move on and just start embarking on different endeavors I’ve already had planned in my life,” he said. “Just trying to go to a whole other level in the music game, I am trying to grow and become greater at what I do.”
However, remaining Bone Thugs members feel like his decision is more of a disrespect to West Coast legend Eazy-E, who broke the group in the early '90s, than anything else. Krayzie might as well say ‘F--- Eazy-E’ because he is disrespecting Eazy-E’s legacy by leaving the group,” Flesh tells TMZ. “Let [Krayzie] walk away...Bone Thugs will be here regardless. The group will not be affected by Krayzie going...he knows where home is.”
The Midwest MC will likely continue to work on his music as well as projects related to Tha Life Entertainment, the label he established in 1998 originally under the name ThugLine Records.
