J. Lo Says Lil Wayne Calls Her "Ma'am"

The American Idol judge reveals details of her phone conversation with Weezy.

Well, no one can ever say that Lil Wayne doesn't have manners, or that he doesn't respect his elders. The rapper was recently featured on Jennifer Lopez's "I'm Into You" single, after a phone conversation between the two superstars that J. Lo described in an interview with MTV. Wayne repeatedly referred to Ms. Lopez as "ma'am," she says.

"When I got on the phone with him to talk about the record, I thought he was going to be like, 'Hey, what's up, J.Lo?' and instead he was like, 'Yes, ma'am.'," says Lopez, who describes Wayne as being "an interesting artist." She continues, "I was like, 'Are you going to be able to do this record? I need it done this week and do you want to do it?' and he was like, 'Of course I do. Yes, ma'am. I'll get it done this week, ma'am."

J. Lo admitted that Weezy was the only choice for the single. After addressing Wayne's absence from the first cut of the video, Jennifer said that there was another version coming that features the Young Money star. She reveals, "He's definitely in the video."
