Another child star has come forward with horror stories.
Just one day after Nickelodeon announced a planned reunion of the '90s sitcom All That, Angelique Bates, one of the stars of the show, is speaking up about the abuse that she faced on the set of the show when she was a child.

Speaking to The Shade Room, Bates goes into detail about her harrowing experience, which occurred at the hands of her own mother. “I was only 12 years old and that’s when my nightmare began,” she recalls. “I was physically, emotionally, mentally abused in front of the producers and cast members. Sometimes they could even hear me yelling, but nothing was done to help me.”

She adds that once, in 1996, Child Protective Services had to be called to the set, but it didn't change anything. “When CPS came, I was pressured by all the adults that were sent to protect me to stay silent," she says. "I did, and I have, but I can no longer stay silent.”

It's not clear how this will affect the proposed reunion of the show, which is intended to include original episodes with voice over commentary by the cast, but it seems unlikely that Bates will take part. Since her co-star Amanda Bynes probably won't either, that leaves Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell.
