Cardi B is going to be a mom again!

On Thursday (Aug. 1), the “Up” hitmaker announced that she is expecting her third child. "With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!" Cardi B captioned an Instagram post of herself in a red dress, showing her belly. "Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!"

This news comes after the Bronx native reportedly filed for divorce from Offset again. According to Page Six, a rep for Cardi revealed that the pair had grown apart. “That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” the insider claimed. “This is something she wants to do.”

Offset and Cardi got married in September 2017. But they’ve split a few times — including in 2020 when Cardi first filed for divorce but withdrew the documents. They share a daughter, Kulture, 5, and a son, Wave, 2. The outlet reported that Cardi’s main focus is “obtaining primary custody” of their two children.

The source added, “They both have been trying to figure out what their future looks like for a while now.”

“It’s not something that happened overnight … They’ve both been on the same page. There wasn’t [pushback]. They’ve grown apart and that feeling has gotten stronger over time. It’s become unavoidable.”
