Chris Brown Covers Graffiti on L.A. Home
The graffiti covering Chris Brown's L.A. home is no more. Breezy and his neighbors had been going at each other over the art wrapped around the superstar's residence. His neighbors alleged "the monsters" were scaring children. The city threatened to slap Brown with a huge fine. He refused to cave, until now.
TMZ reports that the 24-year-old chose to have the images painted over, but sources say he's still not happy. Brown used the First Amendment as defense to warrant his "freedom of expression," thus fighting claims that his art was somehow making the neighborhood look bad and should be removed. Nonetheless, two painters were spotted covering up the wall with gray paint.
If inspectors from the L.A. Building Department of Safety approve the new paint job, the "Don't Think They Know" crooner won't have to pay up, provided that he's not covering one portrait to paint another.
Brown has a reputation of not always getting along well with others, and a history of trouble with the law. In June he was charged with hit-and-run for allegedly fleeing the scene of a fender bender and giving the woman whose car he hit false insurance information, all of which he denied. "I have a valid driver's license and I gave the woman the right info. She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene," he countered. "She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper procedures."
Recently, however, the now single Virginia native hasn't even gone on a Twitter rant. According to his latest Tweet he suggests, "Change the world. Don't let the world change you."
