Latto Makes History as First Solo Female ATL Rapper to Top Billboard’s Rap Albums Chart with 'Sugar Honey Iced Tea'
Latto has just carved out a historic milestone for Atlanta, GA, becoming the first solo female rapper from the city to reign at the top of Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart with her latest album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea.
The 25-year-old star’s latest effort also earned her the no. 15 spot on Billboard’s 200 Chart, her highest debut to date, making her the second female emcee to secure both achievements this year.
The Grammy-nominated star’s 22-track, third studio project was released on August 9 and features several musical guest stars, including Megan Thee Stallion, Coco Jones, Cardi B., and more.
Latto is set to hit the road this fall with her first North American Sugar Honey Iced Tea Tour, with special guests Mariah The Scientist and Karrahbooo.
The tour starts on October 25th in Tampa, FL, and will stop in major cities like New York, Washington, DC, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
