Thanks to JetBlue, you can visit the Caribbean island starting at a mere $99 each way beginning on August 31. Well, probably. JetBlue is still waiting for Cuba's approval, but if they get it, they will be the first U.S. commercial airline to fly to the island in more than half a century, says The Miami Herald.

“It’s a new day for Cuba travelers and one we have thoughtfully prepared for,” said Marty St. George, executive vice president of commercial and planning at JetBlue. “We are proud to usher in a new era of Cuba travel with affordable fares and great service," he added.

Their nonstop flights will fly from Fort Lauderdale, FL, to Santa Clara–Abel Santamaría Airport, which is about three hours away from the country’s capital of Havana. And depending on where you live, the total cost of a round trip could be as low as $204, which will include taxes and fees and Cuba-required health-insurance coverage, Refinery 29 noted.

Since Cuba opened its borders earlier this year, it has been the destination. And with plenty of ways to occupy your time, we suggest getting in on this flight deal ahora.
