50 Cent Wants to Make a Doc About Alleged CEO Murderer Luigi Mangione

The entertainment mogul called Luigi Mangione “special” and apologized to anyone who doesn’t get it.

50 Cent plans to bring alleged murderer Luigi Mangione’s story to the screen.

On Wednesday, December 11, just two days after the Ivy League graduate was arrested and arraigned for the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, the G-Unit leader posted a picture of Mangione’s alleged manifesto on Instagram. In his caption, 50 expressed support for the Baltimore native and shared his intent to create a visual project about him.

“I don’t know, I kinda like this killer,” Fifty wrote. “I’m sorry this is going this way, but I’m doing a documentary on him—he is special! I apologize in advance for anyone who doesn’t understand.”

This isn’t the first time 50 has focused on criminals in his entertainment projects. He co-produced the Power franchise and B.M.F. and is set to release a Netflix miniseries about the sexual misconduct allegations surrounding Diddy.

A segment of Mangione’s manifesto, published by journalist Ken Klippenstein, reads:

“To the Feds, I’ll keep this short because I do respect what you do for our country. To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I wasn’t working with anyone. This was fairly trivial: some elementary social engineering, basic CAD, and a lot of patience. The spiral notebook, if present, has some straggling notes and To-Do lists that illuminate the gist of it.”

Mangione, 26, was taken into custody on Monday, December 9, after police received a tip from a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania. During his arrest, officers found the manifesto and an untraceable firearm, also known as a “ghost gun.” According to The New York Times, Mangione is now fighting extradition to New York.
