Rick Ross Details His Meeting With Drake Amid His Beef With Meek Mill
Young Money mogul Drake has shared mics with the best of his hip-hop counterparts, earning hit singles and his rap stripes in the process.
But after two years’ worth of high-profile beef with Meek Mill, a signee with Rick Ross, one of many of Drake’s collaborators, the MMG boss is here to inform everyone that their man-to-man talk in spite of the tension resulted in all love.
Elaborating on the meeting with Revolt TV, Ross said that their first encounter after the feud sprung shut down any preexisting hostility “before they even sat down.” He and Drake had previously spit bars together on hits like “Aston Martin Music,” “I’m on One,” “No New Friends” and several other bangers, so it would also make sense that he and Drizzy establish an understanding with one another. His opinion, he explained, the quick fix to any beef was a simple talk between two grown men.
“My relationship with Drake had always been genuine,” he further explained. “So, it’s no reason to question that. We all sat down and looked each other in the face and tell each other that. The energy was all positive. We didn’t even spend no time on no f**k s**t. It wasn’t even about no f**k s**t.”
Previously, reports from N.O.R.E. pointed to the then-alleged meetup between Drizzy and Ross, which the rap star revealed was intended to propose a truce with Meek. Unfortunately, the alleged proposition proved unsuccessful, as Drake recently shared his once a foe, always a foe sentiment toward the Dreamchasers rap star. Hopefully, he and Ross can continue keeping their rap relationship balanced in spite of the rift.
