ScHoolBoy Q Launches His Own Line of Merch
Rapper ScHoolboy Q is joining the ranks of artists such as Kanye, Beyoncé and Rihanna by throwing his hat in the fashion game ring.
Teaming up with TDE, the Los Angeles native recently launched the "Blank Face" tour collection, themed after his fall tour and release of Q’s fourth studio album. The limited edition line consists of a colorful array of tie-dyed hoodies, dope dashikis, graphic tees and hats — all touched by his West Coast flavor. Plus, it’s affordable, ranging from $15 to $70, and it's unisex so you and Bae can share.
Here’s a peek at our favorite looks:
Throw those fists up in the air with the Blank Face Dashiki ($40).
It's all groovy in the Q Tie Dye Sweatshirt in Blue ($60).
Keep it 100 with the Conversate L/S T-shirt ($40). We love the back of the shirt, which borrows from Q's own lyrics, "Me no conversate with the fake."
Get trippy in the orange version of the tie dye hoodie.
When asked what made him want to create this line, he told W Magazine, “Because it’s catered to my groove. I just like to dress nice and usually if I like it, most people like it. In 2014 I had the bucket hat and now that I took it off no one else is rocking it.”
On why the focus on tie dye, he said, “Because where I’m from we 'groove' and I consider myself a groovy person. It’s also a dope way to represent my neighborhood."
We can dig it, Q.
