Bobby Brown has been in the news a lot lately because of his relation to ex-wife Whitney Houston. However, today the bad boy R&B singer is making headlines of his own, with an arrest this afternoon.
According to TMZ, Brown was being pulled over for driving while talking on his cell phone when cops noticed that he appeared to be under the influence. He was arrested and taken to a jail in Van Nuys, a city north of Los Angeles. Officers say he was driving with a blood alcohol level content over .08, the legal limit.
The arrest comes on the heels of the revelation that Whitney Houston's accidental drowning death was caused in part by years of cocaine abuse, an addiction for which many cynics, rightly or wrongly, blame Brown.

The 43-year-old crooner has reportedly made bail as investigators look into the case. Brown was convicted of driving under the influence in Georgia in 1996. He served eight days in jail after he pled guilty to the crime.
