Look Familiar? Twitter Is Roasting KKW Beauty Over Their Latest Fenty Beauty-Inspired Campaign

Nice try, Kim: Twitter's roasting KKW. Again.

Oh, Kim, when will you learn? *face palm*

Fenty Beauty's commitment to being completely inclusive to all skin tones has left many older brands searching for relevance in the makeup industry.

Let's be honest, Rihanna filled the longstanding void of finding the perfect shade of brown for our skin! We've got it all, but that doesn't mean beauty brands won't keep trying.

The latest brand vyving for our melanin-fueled coins? Kim Kardashian's KKW Beauty line. And we're not surpised because even her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, tried her hands at appealing to WOC with her lip colors.

Recently, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star decided to dip her toe into the diverse side of beauty and let's just say Twitter chewed her out!

See the post of Kim's multi-shade and multi-generational beauty campaign that has Rihanna's Navy calling the Fenty Beauty headquarters stat:

Although we agree it's great to see representation for different shades and ages, why did it take Rih creating a line to prove our shades are important too? We'll wait.

Needless to say, we're sick of the idea that our skin tones are a "fad" that can be used to make a quick profit. Don't believe us? See what Black Twitter had to say:

There were even complaints about the lack of skin tone selection. Some noted that out of the thirteen women photographed, none of the models represented were of Native American or Indian descent.

TBH, 16 shades is pretty lackluster — even Kylie knew better than that and dropped 30 different hues

"We really had to make sure that the concealer worked on different skin types and ages as well, so it was important to show that in the campaign," Kim recently told Allure. Interesting....

Hopefully our girl Jackie Aina will come through with an honest review once the KKW Beauty concealers drop on March 23. Until then, what do you think? Does the Navy have a point or is this a reach? You know what to do!
