Is The Weeknd’s Girlfriend a Racist?
The world doesn't know much about burgeoning model Bella Hadid other than she's the younger sister of supermodel Gigi Hadid and the barely legal girlfriend of The Weeknd. Now, however, the 19-year-old is making headlines and not for the best reasons as fans dug up some racist tweets she posted a few years back.
According to Bossip, in the four-year-old tweets, Bella repeatedly makes racist jokes and remarks about Black people and even repeatedly drops the n-word.
Some of the tweets read, "Got all the Black b*****s mad cayse my main b***h vanilllllla," and "Just stole a black mans chicken. Oops."
The ones that rubbed Black Twitter the wrong way though were where she casually — but deliberately — used the n-word, repeatedly.
When one user tweeted, "#YouKnowYoureWhiteWhen 4. You know all the correct lyrics to every gangster rap song ever made and sing every word except for n***a," she replied, "@TehranSopravaz guess I'm not white #awkward."
Then there was this: "@Lana_Kai you can see my freckles n***a! #happygirl."
Of course, after the tweets started going viral, Bella deleted them all. Do you think she is a racist?
