Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus is turning into a real big dog on the gridiron. Broadus is entering his junior year of high school as one of the top wide receivers in his class. Odds are that Broadus will be playing big-time college football after he graduates from Las Vegas' Bishop Gorman High School in 2015.

According to BleacherReport.com, "Lil' Snoop" recently narrowed his college list down to five schools. "Right now my top five would probably have to be UCLA, USC, Notre Dame, Oregon State and Florida State," Broadus said. The younger Broadus also revealed that UCLA is currently his frontrunner, thanks in part to their signing of 5-star QB Josh Rosen.

"It’s really big...Me and Josh have known each other since eighth grade and that’s a lot of chemistry right there," Broadus told Rivals.com. "As great of a player as Josh Rosen is I can complement his game, and coming in there as his No. 1 receiver that could be big."

Snoop is a diehard football fan who founded the Snoop Youth Football League and is an outspoken supporter from the sideline of his son's games. Still, he doesn't tell his son what to do, he just cheers him on.
"I don't tell him nothin', I let him go to work," Snoop said. "This is his world. This ain't my profession. My profession is music. So I just support him and let him know he got my support no matter what he do."
Cordell believes his dad helped mold him into the competitor he is today. "He's a real competitive guy, and that's where i get my competitiveness from...We play sports [together]. He's just out there competing with me, you know, trying to get me tougher and going harder. Just making me a stronger man."
Cordell loves the game, but his ultimate goal is to get a college education. "I would love to play college football, but mainly I want to go to college to get my education and to make my mother and my auntie proud of me," Broadus said.
