Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas can do no wrong in James Dolan's eyes.

Even after the New York Knicks owner had to pay an $11.6 million settlement in 2007 to former team executive Anucha Browne Sanders, who accused then-Knicks coach Thomas of sexual harassment, he hired Thomas back.  

First Dolan reassigned Thomas as a consultant in 2010, before announcing this past May that he had hired the retired point guard to be the team president of the WNBA’s New York Liberty.

Now, both men break their silence about the 2007 sexual harassment case that rocked Madison Square Garden on HBO Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel.

Amazingly enough, both Thomas and Dolan deny any wrongdoing in the 2007 scandal.

"It never happened," Thomas tells Gumbel about Browne Sanders alleging he called her a b**** and h**.

Added Dolan: "I think a bunch of it, she did [make it up], yes."

The wealthy Knicks owner said he could have settled the case for a few hundred-thousand dollars, but didn't want it to seem like an admission of guilt, opting to fight the claim instead.

When Gumbel reads quotes from ESPN articles calling Dolan's decision to turn to Thomas once again this past May as "repugnant," Dolan called the backlash "terrible" and "worse than I imagined."
