Metro Boomin' Unveils Issue 2 of 'The Metroverse' Comic Book Series
Metro Boomin is back with the much-anticipated second installment of his comic book series, The Metroverse—Metro Boomin: The Rise #2.
In this action-packed new issue, Metro faces peril head-on as he teams up with the Nightshade Trio—three powerful and enigmatic femme fatales. Together, they confront some of the city’s most daunting threats. But as the plot thickens, relationships will be tested, beliefs challenged, and a sizzling romance emerges. Secrets linger in the shadows, leaving Metro to decide whether the Nightshade Trio are allies or hidden dangers.
The Grammy-nominated producer initially launched his comic series last June, two years after the rap super-producer released his Billboard 200 No. 1 album Heroes & Villains and executive produced the blockbuster, chart-topping soundtrack for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
“It’s a dream come true to have my own comic book, The Metroverse, on shelves,” Metro shared at the time. “Josh and Patrick helped bring my superhero vision to life on these pages, with the talented Vasilis Lolos making it pop with incredible visuals. I can’t wait to share what we’ve created with my fans.”
The Metroverse comic book serves as an extension of the overarching visionary superhero world of “Heroes and Villains,” conceived by Metro alongside Greek comic book artist Vasilis Lolos, writer Ryan Cady, and Zero Zero.
The second issue will be a limited edition. Only 4,000 print copies will be available, each with an exclusive art print and enamel pin. Fans can buy the physical issue at Metroverse.Media.
