Kendrick Lamar’s Full ‘GNX’ Tracklist Makes Billboard Hot 100, Five Songs Top Chart
Kendrick Lamar scored big on the Billboard charts after the surprise release of his sixth studio album, GNX.
After the album’s November 22 release, Kendrick’s first official album on his pgLang imprint, GNX debuted atop the Billboard 200 (dated December 7), earning 319,000 equivalent album units, according to Billboard. The 12-track LP is also Kendrick’s fifth project to reach No. 1, following his 2015 album To Pimp a Butterfly, 2016’s untitled unmastered, 2017’s DAMN., and his 2022 album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.
GNX lead singles are “Squabble Up” and the SZA-featured “Luther,” among five tracks that entered the top five of the Billboard Hot 100, at No. 1 and No. 3, respectively, in the album’s opening week. Additionally, “Squabble Up” makes Kendrick’s fifth No. 1 song, following “Not Like Us,” “Like That,” featuring Future and Metro Boomin, “Humble,” and “Bad Blood” with Taylor Swift. Also rounding out the top five are “TV Off” featuring Lefty Gunplay at No. 2, “Wacced Out Murals” at No. 4, and “Hey Now” featuring Dody6 at No. 5. The remainder of GNX also made the Billboard 200, being first-time chart entries for Wallie the Sensei, Siete7x, AzChike, Hitta J3, YoungThreat and Peysoh, along with the aforementioned Lefty Gunplay and Dody6.
To celebrate his major week, Kendrick Lamar has partnered with SZA for the Grand National Tour, which will hit 19 cities beginning with Minnesota on April 19, 2025.
