The Weeknd announced last week that he’s releasing a new album called STARBOY. That was followed by a title track song release featuring Daft Punk, which had many either loving it or scratching their heads.

Speaking of heads, a new video for “Starboy” is out and it shows The Weeknd losing his trademark hairdo for something much shorter. Directed by Grant singer, who also headed up the visuals for “Tell Your Friends,” “The Hills” and “Can’t Feel My Face,” Abel’s latest video reveals him bizarrely murdering his tarantula hair-era at the hands of the leather-gloved Starboy, who turns out to be a new-and-improved Weeknd.

STARBOY is slated for a November 25 release. The Weeknd is slated to perform on Saturday Night Live on October 1. Check out the video for “Starboy” on his website here.
