Dave East Accuses Delta Airlines Flight Attendants Of Racism After He Was Taken Off Of A Flight
Dave East has put Delta Airlines on blast after he says he was kicked off of a flight.
East took to Instagram over the weekend where he shared a three-minute video of his experience on Delta. “RACISM,” he captioned the video. The video opens with a Black man speaking to a female flight attendant appearing to try to defuse a situation. But when it’s clear the flight crew isn’t budging from their initial stance, East opted to exit the plane. The Harlem rapper said he was on board a flight from New York to Atlanta when he was suddenly kicked off because a flight attendant was nervous seeing a person of color in first class.
“Racist Ain’t Even The Word!” East wrote in the post’s caption. “This Jamaican Man Defending me and He don't even know me!!!! He watched the racist harassment!!!!”
He continued, “Delta Airlines, Y’all Need To Stop Hiring these racist, stupid, ignorant TRUMP supporters that get nervous when they see a PERSON OF COLOR in first class!!! B***h just ask me what I want to drink and keep it pushing!!!! S**t got me Hot.”

“Look how many cops they got over here, y’all. Look at how they stop your whole day. Racism,” East said as he filmed the encounter. “With all this s**t going on in the news — Black people getting shot every f**kin’ day — y’all do this on an airplane? Look at y’all. Y’all don’t even wanna be here. ”
He proceeded to take a recording to the officer's name and their badge numbers. When he approached the lone Black officer, he said, “You the brotha. You're just doing yo’ job, though.”

However, East questioned why they were letting the woman who started everything still fly but not him. “Y’all gon let her fly and we got to get off the plane,” he pointed out. “If they let her fly that’s crazy, bro. We got people on the airplane that I don’t even know getting up and defending me...I did nothing wrong.”
East pans the camera and the Black man from earlier can be seen on camera once more still talking to an attendant. “She not gon’ hear you, bro,” East said. “It’s a mental block, bro.”
