Rap Fans Go Crazy Over Eminem Meeting Bobby Shmurda

They are clamoring for a collaboration from the Detroit and Brooklyn rappers.

Eminem and Bobby Shmurda met each other backstage at the 2022 Apefest event in New York City and fans are excited and hopeful that the meeting will turn into a collaboration.

The now viral video shows Eminem encountering rapper Cordae and giving him a dap and a hug.

According to XXL, the Detroit rapper then saw Bobby Shmurda—but appeared to be unsure if it was the Brooklyn rapper or not. Until Shmurda shouted, “Big homie!,” and the two embraced.

Fans have been chiming in on the video on social media with one writing, “Bobby Shmurda hugging Eminem is something I never thought we’d see.”

Another said, “I actually want a Bobby shmurda and Eminem collab now.”

One fan directly commented to Eminem’s longtime manager, Paul Rosenberg writing, “Hey @rosenberg I think us stans are ready to hear some ignorant sh*t @Eminem @Shmurda”

Eminem surprised the New York City crowd on Friday (June 24) when he joined Snoop Dogg on stage and the two performed their collab “From the D 2 the LBC.”
