Scarface Tackles America's Race Issue in 'Mental Exorcism' Video
With just one day before his first album in seven years is released, Scarface has premiered an emotive new music video paying homage to the Black Lives Matter movement and the push to end police brutality.
The video for “Mental Exorcism,” off Deeply Rooted, features gut-wrenching reminders that America isn’t completely free of its race issue, proved by the social uprisings spawned in Ferguson, Baltimore and other cities around the nation.
Footage of Sandra Bland’s arrest and self-recorded vlog is featured in the video, along with the final moments of Freddie Gray and Eric Garner, the Charleston church shootings and more.
“Mental Exorcism” is one of three bonus track from the Deeply Rooted deluxe edition available exclusively at Best Buy tomorrow.
