Leaked Messages Reveal Kanye West Telling Elon Musk That His 2002 Car Crash Gave Him ‘Signs of Autism’
Kanye West allegedly told Elon Musk he believed the 2002 car accident he was involved in caused “signs of autism.”
In text messages shared by stylist Ian Connor, the Chicago rapper/producer asks Musk, "When are we going to speak," adding, "You owe me nothing. You never have to speak to me again. But if we do speak. The nature of the relationship has to change. I'm not bi polar. I have signs of autism from my car accident."
Kanye also accuses Kim Kardashian of keeping their children away from him in the messages and comments on the current status of Musk’s social media platform X, which is constantly in turmoil.

"You can't watch Kim keep my kids from me," he added. "And not say anything publicly and then call yourself my friend so I can bring my audience to your struggling platform."
It’s unclear when Kanye sent Musk the texts. ‘Ye also informs Connor to "Get this out to the public" regarding the messages, to which Connor responds, "Say less."
The crash West mentions in the exchange is his near-fatal 2002 accident on his way home from a recording studio. The incident inspired his breakout single “Through The Wire.”
