Beyoncé Album Confirmed
It's true. This holiday season Beyoncé is dropping a follow-up to her critically acclaimed, self-titled surprise.
According to a press release, the rumors circulating of another Beyoncé release is not just Internet folklore. The new collection will be available as a platinum-edition box set, complete with more music, a 2015 Beyoncé mini calendar, a DVD featuring 10 live performances from the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, and the original Beyoncé CD and DVD of 14 tracks and 17 music videos.
The new music includes the "Flawless" remix featuring Nicki Minaj, as well as a previously unheard remix of "Drunk in Love" with both her hubby, Jay Z, and the Roc family's BFF, Kanye West; a remake of "Blow," featuring Pharrell; and a "Standing on the Sun" remix with Jamaican dancehall artist Mr. Vegas.
Two new solo songs from Bey include the tracks titled "7/11" and "Ring Off."
The singer first unleashed her self-titled fifth LP to unsuspecting fans in December 2013. It sold more than 800,000 worldwide in three days (and some 5 million to date), breaking the iTunes store record as the fastest-selling album in history.
Beyoncé, the platinum edition, will be available on Nov. 24.
