DC Young Fly’s Longtime Partner and Former ‘Wild ’N Out’ Star Jacky Oh! Passes Away at 32
Ms. Jacky Oh!, best known for her appearance on Wild ’N Out, has died. She was 32 years old.
According to TMZ, who initially broke the news, the former television personality, born Jacklyn Smith, died while she was in Miami. The exact cause of death has not yet been made public.
Many fans may also know Jacky Oh! as the longtime partner of comedian, actor, and rapper DC Young Fly. The couple met in 2015 when the social media star appeared on the improv series. Jacky Oh! joined the year before for its sixth season, assisting other stars in sketches.
Although they never married, they share three children -- daughters Nova and Nala, and their son Prince was just born last year. DC was reportedly in Atlanta shooting a project when he got the tragic news.
Jacky Oh! would eventually leave Wild ’N Out to pursue a career as a realtor and launch her lip gloss line, J Nova Collection.
The Wild ’N Out social media account addressed Jacky Oh!’s death in a post, writing, "We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild 'N Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed. Jacky Oh was a loving friend, and beloved colleague of the Wild 'N Out cast throughout five seasons. More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children."
They concluded. “The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.”
