This Is How T.I. and Tiny Responded to Their Daughter's Gun-Toting Arrest
Carrying a semi-automatic handgun through a TSA checkpoint may not be the brightest thing to do, however if you’re T.I. and Tiny’s daughter Zonnique Pullins, you won’t be punished heavily.
According to TMZ, Pullins tried to catch a last-minute light out of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to see her boyfriend and grabbed the wrong purse. It wasn’t until the TSA discovered the firearm that the 20-year-old aspiring singer actually realized she had brought a gun to the airport.
Everyone makes mistakes, but perhaps the reason Zonnique’s parents aren’t particularly mad is that Tiny actually helped her daughter buy the gun. Apparently she had been receiving threats on social media, with a fan even grabbing her at a recent listening party.
TMZ is also citing sources who say both T.I. and Tiny agreed she needed protection. Pullins failed to produce the correct documents to prove the gun was her’s and even if she would’ve, it’s still illegal to carry a gun into an airport. The family’s already procured a lawyer.
