Report: There's a Warrant Out for DMX's Arrest
DMX is once again a wanted man after he reportedly skipped a court date Monday (December 15).
New York Supreme Court Judge Paul Marx issued an arrest warrant for X, born Earl Simmons, for failing to show up for a hearing regarding child support payments owed to his ex-wife, Tashera Simmons.
According to Bossip, Marx was “livid” when he didn’t show at the Westchester County Supreme Court, even though he promised he would. X’s lawyer told the judge he thought his court date was the 15 and not the 14, which Marx wasn’t buying and even snidely responded, “It’s going to be really hard to perform at the Westchester County Jail, [DMX] sat here at the table and said, ‘If you let me go, I’m coming back.’ Well, he ain’t here. It’ll be interesting to see if TSA picks him up on a warrant.”
This is not the first time Judge Marx ordered DMX to be arrested. Back in October, police brought him in, however the rapper made the excuse he had to tour as his legal arrangement would get in the way of his ability to make money and thus handicap his ability to pay back money he owes. X said he would be back for court though...and here we are.
