Kim Kardashian's SKIMS Named Official Underwear Partner of the NBA and WNBA

The reality TV star dropped her newest line of SKIMS last week geared towards men.

Kim Kardashian just secured a major bag.

On Monday (Oct.30), the reality TV star began a multiyear partnership with her SKIMS brand and the NBA, WNBA, and USA Basketball.

"I am incredibly proud of SKIMS partnership with the NBA, as it is a reflection of SKIMS growing influence on culture," Kardashian said in a press release. "Together, SKIMS and the NBA will connect people of all backgrounds through fashion, sport, and talent, and I look forward to seeing the partnership thrive."

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is also delighted with the league's newest alliance.

"SKIMS has quickly become one of our most culturally-influential brands," he explained in the release. "We look forward to bringing NBA fans and SKIMS users unique experiences, new offerings and premium products through our partnership."

According to the release, fans can experience the partnership at future marquee events, including the NBA All-Star and the NBA In-Season Tournament.

On Thursday (Oct.26), Kardashian debuted her new men's collection of SKIMS, consisting of essentials for everyday wear, including underwear, shirts, and socks. That same day, the website crashed and pulled in millions of dollars, as reported by TMZ.

Sources told the outlet it was the brand's most profitable day since the company's launch in 2019. The website had 25,000 orders within the first five minutes of its drop.

“We’ve never had a bigger request than to launch men’s,” Kardashian told GQ before the line's launch date.

"Twenty percent of our traffic, and 10 percent of our customers, are already men,” explained SKIMS CEO Grede. “That means we’ve had 50 million men coming to site over the last few months.”

Before the collection dropped, the company announced its newest brand ambassadors, including San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Nick Bosa, Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Brazilian soccer star Neymar. The athletes stripped down to their underwear and showed off their abs for a collaboration that went viral.
