White Rapper Post Malone Uses the N-Word in Old YouTube Clip
Post Malone, the up-and-coming rapper signed to Republic Records, is facing a new controversy after an old clip posted on YouTube surfaced of him saying the n-word.
The video, titled “Industry plant Post Malone caught saying ‘n***a,'” sparked a whole lot of online chatter over the fact that another white rapper thought it’d be OK to use the word. Post Malone is behind the viral sensation “White Iverson,” which likely helped him get his major label deal.
As pointed out by Noisey, a user on KanyeToThe found the old Vine and uploaded it to YouTube. The video is still online and neither Post Malone nor his camp has commented on the situation yet.
During his interview with The Breakfast Club last month, Charlamagne tha God grilled Post Malone about appropriating Black culture and even went as far as saying he’s trying to be transracial. “Y’all trying to get me in trouble,” he said when Charlamagne prodded him to repeat the lyrics to “Lean Back.”
Do you think this will harm Post Malone’s career in the long run? Watch the clip here and decide for yourself.
