Andre 3000 Reveals His Favorite Album of the Last Few Years
It’s always a treat to get insight from Andre 3000 in interviews because it doesn’t happen too often. The Outkast member is rather elusive but can drop a few gems if a mic is placed in front of him.
Luckily, that’s what happened recently. During an unplanned (on Dre’s part) Q&A with The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show Andre 3000, accompanied by L.A. Reid, spoke about a few topics including his favorite artists and albums of the last few years. When it comes to a favorite album, judging by what we already know about him, what he says isn’t too much of a shock.
“Kid Cudi’s last album, Speedin’ Bullet is the best thing to come out in a long time,” he said, then continued with other newer artists he enjoys listening to. “[Young] Thug is charging up the rap game. Future is charging up the rap game. These are people I listen to.”
When asked about his son, Three Stacks revealed that he was doing his own rapping, and that he’s good at it. “He can actually rap, but he don’t want people to know that he can rap. But he’s good,” Dre said about Seven. “I told him to do it and don’t tell people. Just put it out. If people like it, they like it. You can reveal at any time.”
