This should definitely be a self-esteem boost for Jennifer Lopez. The mogul has been named one of Glamour’s “Women of the Year.” She’s being honored for her feats in music, style and retail.
Back in July, she and Marc Anthony announced the end of their seven-year marriage, but even heartbreak didn’t stop the show. J.Lo went on to shine in several new Fiat car commercials and successfully debuted her new clothing and home goods line at Kohl’s.
Covering the December issue, Lopez spills her heart to guest interviewer Jane Fonda about what she’s learned about love. "I think to give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye," Lopez says. "You know the media — they want to rush everything."
True. She also discussed her personal style and how she’s added nostalgic touches to her Kohl’s collection. "The things I liked when I was, like, 16 and in the Bronx — jeans, cut-up T-shirts — I still like," she says, adding, "I used all of that when I created my new line for Kohl's. My style has come from everything, from where I started to where I am today."
The issue is on newsstands now and J.Lo looks fabulous.
