De La Soul Announces The DA.I.S.Y. Experience At NYC’s Webster Hall
In honor of the untimely passing of Trugoy The Dove earlier this month, De La Soul is announcing The DA.I.S.Y. Experience, which is slated to take place Thursday (March 2) at New York City’s Webster Hall.
According to a press release, Posdnuos and Maseo, along with others, will put on the event that will “celebrate the life and legacy of the late David ‘Trugoy The Dove’ Jolicoeur and the influence and impact of De La Soul.”
DA.I.S.Y., an acronym for “Da Inner Sound Y’all”, is a familiar one for fans of the pioneering hip-hop trio. The release states that the “immersive activation” will transfer Webster Hall into a De La destination utilizing artwork from their classic debut 3 Feet High and Rising. On Friday, the group’s music will finally hit streaming services.
