Usain Bolt declared that this would be his last Olympics, but his performance in Rio has put that promise in serious doubt.
The Jamaican athlete scored his third gold medal on Friday night, taking the top prize in the 4x100m relay and completing an unbelievable "triple-triple" — three gold medals in the last three consecutive Olympics — and securing his legacy as the Fastest Man on Earth.
Now, though, many are convinced that Bolt will go for a "triple-quadruple" in Tokyo in 2020.

As viewers around the world could see last night, Bolt, who turns 30 years old on Sunday, easily pulled away from the pack during the relay and took the gold without breaking a proverbial sweat (in literal terms, though, he was drenched). 

"My team came through for me tonight," said Bolt after the race. "As long as we got the baton round, it was never in doubt."
In the next Olympics, Bolt will be just shy of 34 — the same age his closest competitor Justin Gatlin is now — and could still be a contender. What's more, he's huge in Japan.

That said, who could blame him for wanting to end his career at his peak? He's certainly done his part to bring glory to Jamaica and to track & field around the world.
