Tiffany Haddish Tweets Wish For New Man After Common Breakup
Fresh off her breakup with rapper Common, Tiffany Haddish tweeted a wish for a new beau.
Haddish posted the tweet on Friday (Dec. 24), stating what she’s looking for in a man.
“I want a man in my life I can share my success with, my joy, my body and all while I feel safe with him” she tweeted. “Does anyone know how to make that happen?”
One follower said: “Girl I’m given you GOLD here… When we look for love, we SEE things that don’t really exist… then we get hurt… When we STOP looking, real love finds us.”
Haddish replied, “Facts. Well then no more looking for Love, just respect and Amazing sex.”
Haddish, 42, dated rapper-actor Common for a year before the two split in November. Earlier this month, Common sat down with Jason Lee Uncensored of Fox Soul's Hollywood Unlocked.
Common cited their hectic work schedules as the reason for the breakup.
“It really didn't allow us to spend as much time and put as much energy into our relationship. I don't think the love really dispersed. We weren't feeding the relationship, neither one of us is gonna stop. We both care about our crafts and what we do," Common explained. "We care about love too and partnership, but I think the energy that has been put into our careers and continuing to want to do the things that we do for ourselves and for people ... it was hard for me to balance all of that and keep the relationship fed."
Haddish sat down with Lee, too. Initially, she wished her former lover nothing but the best, but after Lee prompted for more specifics on the breakup, she said she was “very disappointed. I was like, 'Oh, OK. 'Cause that's not what you told me, but OK.'"
