Terry Crews on Mel Gibson: 'He's Definitely Sorry'
The Expendables are back with a third installment of the hit action franchise and we've got exclusive interviews with some of the film's all-star cast. We sat down with Terry Crews and Dolph Lundgren to talk about the film, it's broad appeal across races and age groups and some of the controversial newcomers to the cast, including Mel Gibson.
Crews stands up for his embattled co-star, who has been making more headlines for his racist and anti-Semitic remarks than his work these past few years. "It's the same with Mel as it is with a guy like Donald Sterling. If someone filmed you and recorded everything you did all day long, they would find something that would offend everybody."
The actor claims Gibson has turned over a new leaf and was nothing but professional on set. "My experience with Mel...he was a star. He is a star. He's definitely sorry. People have to be allowed a second chance," says Crews. "The Expendables franchise...it's like the halfway house of Hollywood! You do anything wrong, you can get in Expendables."
