See the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Featured in Vogue
Alpha Kappa Alpha, the first sorority exclusively for African-American women, made it to Vogue! Spelman College's AKA chapter was honored with a feature in the magazine that also included video footage and a photoshoot. The article sheds some light on the history of AKA as well as traditions that have been passed down for over a hundred years.
And naturally, AKAs are flaunting their pride all over the internet:

"...Though it’s easy to be distracted by the mythology of sororities — the clandestine initiation ceremonies, the college rivalries — the work that these women have quietly been doing in their communities for more than a century can’t be ignored, whether it be raising awareness for mental health on campus, building schools in South Africa, or lobbying for civil rights in Congress, as they did as early as 1938," writer Chioma Nnadi noted.
