Offset And Daughters Were Royally Outfitted For The Red Carpet At 'The Little Mermaid' Premiere
Offset and his two daughters, Kulture, 5 and Kalea, 8 looked like they stepped out of a storybook as they took to the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of The Little Mermaid.
The "Bad and Boujee'' rapper wore a structured white jacket and black pants. He also sported Tory Burch sunglasses. His girls colored their hair with a hint of Ariel red, donning black-and-white ball gowns and sheer opera gloves, according to Entertainment Tonight.
He and his girls smiled on the red carpet, and the 31-year-old rapper also shared a series of photos on Instagram, which he captioned "Mermaid premiere with my girls," fans and supporters have flooded the post with more than a million likes and thousands of comments.
A viral video is circulating on Twitter of Kulture hugging Halle Bailey who plays Ariel in the live-action production.
Her sister Chlöe Bailey also shared what she thinks it means for little girls like Kulture and Kalea to see Halle play a princess.
"I get chills," Chlöe said to Entertainment Tonight. "To know that all of those beautiful girls will be able to see proper representation, whether you're black or white or anything like that, you'll be able to look at my sister and say 'I can be anything I want to be no matter what the world tells me is acceptable," she continued. "There could not be a more perfect Ariel."
Melissa McCarthy who plays Ursula in the film, also commented on the modern retelling, saying, "I think that for me there's something special about this one. If we haven't been a parent, we've all had parents. We've all wrestled with what that is. We've all longed to figure out what's the life I want, which is really the key story that in this, I feel like it's more modern than it was in the original, just in terms of really carving out the life you choose to have for yourself."
