Omar Gooding was arrested on Tuesday morning for driving under the influence, TMZ reports. The actor and brother of Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. was detained for several hours and then released.
No details about the arrest have been released, nor is it clear if Gooding will face charges.
The actor has been a mainstay on television for years, as host of the Nickelodeon show Wild & Crazy Kids and as a regular cast member of Hangin' With Mr. Cooper, Smart Guy, One on One and other series. He has also appeared on the big screen in films like Baby Boy and The Gospel.
